As part of our first group project we were asked to design one digital and one analogue tool for the garage. The first was a drill which we chose because we noticed a trend of either way too full on drills that intimidated the average person or crappy $50 drills that died after one job. The aim of the brief was to learn about how people react with objects on an anthropometric and a psychological level. The second tool was a tablet that had the main intention of informing people how to construct things like Pinterest and Instructables do, through a process of immersive testing we found that multi-functional legs would allow the user to hook, clip or hang the tablet anywhere.
